Highlife artiste, Kumi Guitar, born Nana Yaw Kumi, has debunked reports that he is under pressure to deliver after signing a juicy deal with Zylofon Media.
He signed a five-year deal, which came with a 2016 Hyundai Sonata, registered in his name, a sign-on fee of $100,000 and a three-bedroom house, in January this year.
Speaking at the launch of Brown Sugar, one of three new singles he has recorded with the outfit, he said he has timelines to work and he does not feel pressured.
He told the press, “this thing is not pressuring me to do anything. As a matter of fact, I have timelines to work. I have a number of songs to produce in a month.
“We’ve sat down to talk about a whole lot. I wouldn’t want it to look like they are pushing me to do something beyond me.”
