This is what Nana Ama McBrown did when she Filed Past Asantehemaa’s Remains [PHOTO]

Start slideshowNana Ama McBrown was at Manhyia to mourn the passing of her overlord’s mother, Asantehemaa Afia Kobi Ampem. The remains of the late Queen Mother is currently laying in state until Thursday for mourners to pay their last respects before her burial.

She was in the official mourning cloth for the funeral rite, which is black and in accordance with customs, female who wants to file past the remains of the late Queen mother, she was barefooted with neither headbands nor scarves, ear rings nor bracelets. She was therefore wearing neither slippers nor ornaments.

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II filed past his late mother at exactly 11:00 am yesterday.

People from all walks of life were present to pay their last respect to the Queen.
