Ashanti Regional GJA Chairman, Listowell Yesu Bukarson has warned controversial movie producer, Socrates Sarfo to desist from the unnecessary open pressure he is giving to President Akufo-Addo for appointment into the creative arts industry. According to him, the party, which he is a member of, does not accept such types of lobby.

Socrates Sarfo, a known NPP sympathizer’s name was mentioned on social media in the race for ministerial appointment into the creative arts industry. However, Catherine Afeku’s was appointed by Akufo-Addo and Socrates Sarfo’s name is still flying around for the deputy ministerial position. It is, however, unclear if he is pushing this agenda himself.

Socrates Sarfo accused the previous Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare of having no knowledge about the industry.
